Sophie

Her name was Sophie. She had borrowed clothes without asking and once broken a kitchen chair by using it for something Pauline refused to dignify with a detailed description. She was clever at fixing small machines and terrible at accepting that another person might be right before she had tried every way of proving them wrong.
